Co-managing and developing diversified international patent practice teams to provide higher quality of service to foreign clients (integrating valuable skill of foreign nationals with power of American members to create better service to foreign clients), Mr. Nakamura has more than 12 years of total experience in patent prosecution. This includes drafting patent applications, analyzing office actions and advising clients on strategies for successful prosecution. His comprehensive knowledge of practice before the U.S.P.T.O. and Japan Patent Office enables him to craft the most effective prosecution path for each client after analyzing the client’s needs and level of sophistication.
Mr. Nakamura also regularly teaches U.S. patent practice and provides consultation to Japanese corporations. Before coming to the United States, Mr. Nakamura practiced as a Benrishi (patent agent) in Japan, where he represented Japanese and multinational corporations before the Japan Patent Office.
